Miss A came in to celebrate her very first birthday with a cake smash and splash session, and she was just the sweetest. From the moment she arrived, she was happy to go with the flow, which made the whole morning feel easy and fun.
We kicked things off with the cake smash. Her white birthday cake, cleverly made by Mum, complemented the pink, gold and white girly decorations. It didn’t take her long to have a little taste and give us those cheeky, cake covered smiles that parents love. This is such a fun age to capture, a mix of curiosity, giggles, and “what is this and why is it so squishy?”
After the cake, it was time for the splash. A warm bath, a few bubbles, and Miss A was in her element. She splashed and played, and we ended up with even more gorgeous shots to finish her gallery. I always love ending cake smash sessions with a splash, it’s cute, it’s fun, and it means bub goes home squeaky clean.
