It’s always such a joy to welcome familiar faces back into the studio. This gorgeous family has been with me since baby V’s maternity session, followed by her newborn photos, and now here we are capturing some updated family portraits. We’d originally planned for her 6-month milestone session, but as life goes, things got busy and we ended up scheduling it a little later in the year.
On the day, this sweet girl wasn’t quite in the mood for photos. That’s completely normal — little ones can have off days! We took our time, let her have a nap, and even had Dad take big brother out for something to eat while she recharged by having a quick nap! One of the big advantages of booking a full family photography session is that we have plenty of time to work around the children’s moods and needs, ensuring we still capture those precious moments.
For families who only want a handful of updated images, I’ll be reintroducing mini family sessions later this year. These will be shorter, with fewer photos included, and perfect for those looking for a quick, in-and-out option while still enjoying professional family portraits here in Perth.
